To me, it was a new learning plat form as all the assignments were new and had to learn with the help of tutor, friends and internet.

In fact, last assignment was found to be most interesting and useful in our day to day life. Designing cards, news paper front page, certificate and writing letters using mail merge feature. To be frank, I tried my best to carry out the assignment. The most interesting and new learning plat form was on “writing letters using mail merge features”.  A piece of information can be shared to many concerned heads with in no time. It is useful for teachers to disseminate information to parents.

With regard to Ms Word processing, it is also used to create documents like letters, reports, essays, and different types of cards. Mail merge is one of the examples where we can apply ms word processing features.

Sir, you chose most relevant topics which are useful in our day to day work. For that, I on behalf of my ICT friends and on my own behalf would like to convey our heartfelt “thank you” to you sir.

Reflective Journal on ICT in Education

Today, everyone needs a basic understanding of Information and communication technologies (ICT) and how to make productive use of it, just to be good students, workers and citizens. 

Till date, I could learn many important usage of ICT in teaching and learning process. Usage of bloggers and Google drive.  With the help of Google drive, we will be able to create questions for class test as well as survey questionnaires. It is the easiest method and time saving.In the initial stage, it was a challenge for me as I had never browsed through Google drive. I had to call my friends time and again for help. Another challenge that I faced in completing questionnaire was to get responder and also to get Email address of ICT friends to share my questionnaires.  Now I feel comfortable and can handle all the format given in Google drive.

The second assignment was to prepare a lesson plan in groups and get comments for the further improvement. To do this assignment, I did it with much courage and submitted in detail with all the comments incorporated in the plan.

With regard to the 3rd assignment on writing "reflective journal on ICT in education" using bloggers.com,  I had difficulty in sharing my reflective journal to my friends for comments as I couldn't find the track to share. I had to seek friends help to learn better.

In the nutshell,  I would like to say that " every challenge is the way to learning".
